You should be a European applicant with Asian roots. The good thing is you should capitalize on how this mix of both cultures has shaped up your personality and made it multi-dimensional. This insight will matter more to the adcom than what the legal papers say.

Citizenship is #1, you will be competing against other Asians from your country. They will also assess how you compare to those with Asian heritage in terms of bringing diversity (age, gender, industry, function, background, LGBT, etc)
