A candidate born in Asia but having European citizenship, what admission pool he'll be placed in?

What schools are you applying to? Generally I agree that you would be seen as a European candidate with Asian heritage but if you apply to a school in the specific Asian country where you were born, for example, the mix could make you stand out. And the same goes if you are applying to a school in the specific European country where you have your citizenship now. You might be seen as a “minority” candidate there, which is a good thing!
