Thank you for the advice. But my main question is "I want to know which other schools I can apply to. I didn't want to go for US B-schools. But now I don't have much left."
Also, my work-ex is in Digital Marketing for 3 years and Inbound Marketing for 0.5 year that involves Product Marketing for the most part.

A few thoughts on your profile and things therein gayathrikeerthanas:

  1. Tech marketing sounds interesting. Is that Product Marketing or something else? Fruitful doesn't really cut it - how differentiated and at what scale? Think along those lines.
  2. What has been your academic background, performance and pedigree? All those will be important to understand that true strength of the profile.
  3. The post-MBA plans will have to be clarified a lot better. Marketing roles are typically quite tough to break into for international MBA grads. Consulting is possible but maybe there's a better fit than a generic one?
  4. For reasons mentioned here, we do not speculate on school selection. While NUS is a good brand, make sure you've done your research in terms of post-employment authorization issues in S'pore. IE/IESE could both be worth looking into.

Hope this helps some.

Cheers,

Hi gayathrikeerthanas

By the info shared here, you have a good profile along with a good GMAT score. Though, IESE has an average GMAT score of 690 and since it is one of the top 15 B-school the competition would be tough as top schools receive top profiles with plenty of things to talk in their essays. I would not say it's impossible but it can be a bit complicated.

You can however give a shot to IESE but you will have to work really hard on your application essays, show the Adcom how you are the right fit for the applied MBA class. The admissions officers want to see evidence of leadership and essays that demonstrate you have a plan as to what you intend to do after earning your MBA. Your prior work history & academics need to paint a clear picture as to why you desire an MBA.

A solid profile which is balanced on all fronts - academics, career growth and impact, and leadership experiences outside work is more likely to impress the Adcom pannel.

Having said this, you should also keep your options open and apply to other schools as well, NUS is definitely one of the top best schools you should consider applying to along with other similar schools.

Use the link mentioned below to know your chances of getting into any B-Schools by using our ingenious tool called “Chances Of B-School” by entering your profile details.
