Profile evaluation

Question

I am naval architect (ship designer) and I have 5yrs of professional experience. I have handled 4 projects. Do I have a chance for getting in to IIM's and ISB. I want to do project managment course.
10-85%,12-85%,BTECH-8 CGPA.
PLS tell my chances of getting it.

Of course, you do. You have a stellar academic performance all along. However, you must also focus on your extracurricular activities and leadership capabilities, areas of prime importance on the application. I believe you are planning to take the GMAT. If yes, then a 700-730 score could give you a comfortable edge.

You're ultimately asking Admissions questions, so you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile. There's a Forum full of those Experts here:

If you have not taken the GMAT yet, then those Experts might be 'limited' in terms of how accurately they can assess your chances to get into any particular School.

1) Have you done any studying for the GMAT yet (and/or taken the Official GMAT?)?
2) Are you thinking about applying to School during the Round 1 application window later this year?

Hi Vamsi, with the limited information you've provided about yourself, my answer is more inclined towards a  yes , provided that you get a decent GMAT score.

In fact, I would strongly suggest that at this stage, you should be concentrating on getting a good  GMAT score , than a Project Management certification. A Project Management certification would at best be a  good-to-have , while a decent GMAT score is a  must-have , for a realistic shot at these schools.
