Hi,

I am an engineer with 2 years of work experience in technology at Infosys after which I did an MBA in Finance (CAT Percentile 90). Post my MBA, I have worked in M&A (Corporate Finance) roles at KPMG, Accenture, Bank of America (Commercial Banking). I am currently working at a relatively lesser know boutique valuations company.
Total experience - 5 years post MBA.
I have cleared CFA Level 2 and FRM Part 2.

I am yet to write GMAT. I want to get an estimate as to how much I need to score to get into NUS, NTU, Insead, and others in the same bracket.

Thanks in advance.

Hello joshirooney

While no GMAT score can guarantee an admit, you must look at a 710 at least for the Singaporean programs. For INSEAD, you must aim for nothing less than a 740.

A lot will also depend on how well you portray your achievements and skills in your essays, as well as address the need for a second MBA.

Good Luck!

Hello joshirooney,

You have a diverse profile, taking into your consideration working in both IT and commerce sectors. Targetting the GMAT score of 720 should be good if your planning for schools like INSEAD having average GMAT score around 710. It is always suggested to add 10 or 20 points more to the average score of the school to shine out of the cohort. You should definitely mention the urge for applying the second MBA in your application essays. Adcom's also looks for overall candidacy pf the applicants like achievements, extra curriculum, awards, leadership skills, etc. Try to showcase most of the strenghts reducing your weaker points, taking an expert help in drafting essay could be a better choice.

Hopes this helps you, all the best for your GMAT.
Cheers!
