Good morning everyone,
I am interested in receiving feedback regarding which schools I should be targeting for this upcoming cycle in the fall of 2019. Listed below are my stats. On a side note, I ended up taking the GRE vs the GMAT. I do not plan on retaking either exam. Additionally, I decided to enlist a little later in life post college to pursue my dream of working in an elite military unit (didn't ultimately work out). Ideally I am looking to remain in SoCal post MBA. Are any of the schools listed below too big of a reach or am I missing any programs I should be targeting? Financing is not an issue thanks to post 9/11 & YR. Thanks for everyone's time and feedback.
Background
Work experience:
-2 years in public accounting (audit - public and private companies) and licensed CPA
- 4 years military E-5 in aviation maintenance (very new military technology). SpecOps drop (think 18X/BUDS/PJs). 1 deployment to Pacific
Extra curriculars:
- Strong community service involvement 150+ hours (think United Way, school tutoring, Big Brother Big Sister, etc.)
Undergrad school/major:
- Approximately top 100 private U.S University
- Double major in Accounting/Finance
Other education/coursework:
- Licensed CPA
Race/nationality:
- Caucasian male, first generation college grad, veteran, age 29
Stats
GRE Score: 149V, 158Q = 307 cumulative
Undergrad GPA: 3.5 GPA
MBA Info
Goal of MBA: LDPs, FLDPs
Target schools: Northwestern, Michigan, Duke, UCLA, USC, UCI, Pepperdine, Chapman

Hey Blackhawks,
Thanks for posting! You have a very strong professional background, and having a finance background and CPA will help you differentiate yourself from other military candidates.
I'll be blunt: your GRE score coverts to a GMAT in the mid 550's. To be a competitive applicant at your target schools, you would need to raise your GRE considerably (to the equivalent of a 650-670 at a minimum).
If you are unable to re-take the GRE, then the only schools I can see that are a possibility are UCI, Pepperdine, and Chapman. USC is rising steadily in the rankings and is seeking higher tests scores to maintain its current position. You've got the kind of profile that can be very very successful in the process, but you simply have to get that GRE up.
