Recently took the GMAT for the first time : 720

Work Ex : 2 years of work ex as an administrator in our family run hospital. Trustee of an NGO (filling in my father's shoes) working in furthering female education in the state (candidates mostly from rural / backward areas) in the fields of medicine and nursing, and organising subsidised health camps. Worked in the same informally during college and started new training programs during the same period.

Based in India ; Planning to get an MBA, work for a couple years, widen my network, then return for expanding the business.

Education : CGPA 7.2 in Civil Eng, 10th 89, 12th - 78.

Extra curriculars : I speak four languages, am certified in music (Guitar) by Rockschool London and Indian Classical. Also into digital art and started a global scale (although small) business in the same.

Participated in '08 Commonwealth youth games in the closing ceremony.

Needed to know if I should add any more certifications / experiences / courses in order to get a 1-5, or atleast 5-20 kind of offer.

Hi there!

Few thoughts on your profile:

1. If I am reading this correctly, your work experience is currently two years which means that if you apply for Fall 2020 intake, you will have a little over 3 years of work experience upon matriculation. While this is below average for most top schools, it is still in the acceptable range. However, it becomes even more important at a lower experience level to clearly talk about why an MBA is the right choice for you at this stage of your career.

2. Your goals are not very well articulated in your post – some more brainstorming and introspection will be needed here.

3. Your extracurriculars look decent, provided you have been continually pursuing them for some time now.
4. For profile enhancement in the next few months, try to take on leadership roles and projects both within the hospital and outside. Certifications/courses etc might only make sense if they are needed to address any gaps in your education or if they are helpful for your post-MBA goals.

With your low experience, it will be important to apply to a few extra schools. With your GMAT done, this is perfect time to get started with your applications. Feel free to reach out to us for a detailed profile evaluation.
