Experts,
I recently applied to the deferred admissions programs at multiple schools and was unfortunately rejected from all of them. I plan to reapply in 3-4 years to the same programs and others, but I was wondering about a specific scenario for the application.
I have heard that if an applicant has applied in a certain year and then reapplies in another, the applicant does not have to resubmit the GMAT scores as long as the GMAT scores used in the earlier year are valid. For example, if an applicant took the GMAT in 2018 and applied to three MBA programs in 2018, then when the applicant reapplies to those three MBA programs in 2022, the applicant does not need to submit the GMAT reports (because the GMAT scores are valid for 5 years).
My questions are:
1.) If you take the GMAT again, do you have to report the retaken GMAT score when you reapply?
2.) Using the example from above, if the applicant takes the GMAT again in 2020, but does not like the score and cancels, can the applicant choose to not resubmit the GMAT reports/scores when the applicant reapplies in 2022 (carrying on the application with the valid GMAT scores submitted in the previous application)?
Thank you in advance.
