Dear Paul
I received an invitation to visit their campus in Hannover. But before wasting time and money, I should make a research on that school. In the meantime, could you give me your opinion about Europe(US) job market for the graduates of GISMA, market value of GISMA MBA degree? How easy it is to get a job in Europe or in US after the MBA?

Is GISMA-Purdue MBA recognised worldwide meaning in US or Australia? How is it compared to the MBA received at Purdue in US?

Best regards,
Dilshod

Dilshod,

GISMA is a new German school, but a respected one, judging from its rankings by Business Week and Financial Times. I note that their 2005 graduating class joined firms like Chinatrust Commercial Bank, Shell Renewables, Ernst & Young Real Estate, Capital One Financial, UBS, Booz Allen Hamilton, GE Consumer Finance, McKinsey, and Dun & Bradstreet, which is an impressive and multinational list. The GISMA degree will help you most if you want to work in Germany I suspect, but its value in the U.S. and Australia will probably be quite a bit smaller. This is where GISMA's association with Purdue could you help, at least with U.S. recruiters, because Purdue is a good brand and its graduates are respected, especially for operations-related positions. But if you had no interest in studying or working in Germany then I can't see how GISMA would be too appealing.

Good luck,

I appreciate your attention and help. Thank you Paul.

You're welcome and good luck.
