hi Paul,
It'd be great if you could give me some feedback on the schools I could apply to with my profile.I plan to apply for the batch starting sept 2007.

Age: 24
Work ex: 2.5 years-21 months as Sales Engineer and 9 months Asst. Sales manager (in a different firm)as of dec 31,2006.Both firms are local players in Dubai, U.A.E: mostly in the field of structured cabling-installations in high rise buildings
University Degree: BITS, Pilani: Dubai campus: BS(Comp Science Engineering)
GMAT: 690
Extra Curricular:Have been an active member of basketball teams and used to play the same since school.Captained the university Basketball team(although I stand at just 5'11" :D)
Have participated in community services like beach cleanup campaigns etc.
I know I really don't have much to write about the activities I've got into, but I assume you'd take this into consideration too, while giving me advice as to which schools I have a decent chance of getting into.
Also, some insight into the pool of schools that are known for its marketing and consulting programs, if provided would be great.

Your Dubai angle sounds interesting, but your community/extracurricular sounds a little undernourished. For marketing, the top of your target list could selected from among Michigan, Emory, USC, UNC, Texas-Austin, Darden, Florida, and Wisconsin--all have respected marketing programs. For consulting, you could consider Michigan, Yale, UNC, Texas Austin, and Cornell, among others. Note that Michigan, UNC, and Texas are strong in both your areas.
