Hi,
I got accepted at Pepperdine for a Fully Employed MBA program. I have couple of question before I accept the admission.
1. I am working in the IT industry for 9 years and want to get into management and finally want to start my own company. Is MBA is the right track for me? or My IT technical knowledge is more important than MBA? Will MBA will help me achieving my goals?
2. Is Pepperdine a good school as compared to UCLA and USC?
Please advice.

An MBA is an excellent way to gain the skills to manage and/or launch a company. For most people, technical experience alone does not provide enough of a skill set to run or start a company, though certainly people without MBAs do both.
Pepperdine's EMBA program is respected, but it's full-time MBA program is not in the same league as USC's or UCLA's. Since 2001, its selectivity has actually been dropping (i.e., it has admitted a steadily growing percentage of its applicants). Can't beat the location though!
