Hi all,
Before I come to my question I think it will be better if I give a brief overview of myself.
Age - 27
Undergraduate - B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (Graduate Year 2015)
Work Experience - Total 4 years. Currently working as a Delivery Associciate Software Engineer in a top-tier IT consulting firm.
I gave TOEFL in
August 2019 and my TOEFL score is
104.
So far I have given GMAT thrice and my scores are as follows:
GMAT 1: 480 (Feb 2019)
GMAT 2: 560 (August 2019) ( Q: 37 , V: 31)
GMAT 3: 570 (September 2019) ( Q: 36 , V: 32)
For my first GMAT attempt, I was not fully prepared so the score for that one can be ignored. As for my second and third attempts, I really gave it my all but still only managed to achieve the scores mentioned above.
It is extremely disheartening and I am really at a loss here !
I was thinking of applying for the following five colleges:
(1) University of Toronto: Rotman School of Management
(2) Indiana University: Kelley School of Management
(3) Univeristy of Washington: Foster School of Business
(4) University of North Carolina: Kenan-Flagler
(5) Univerisy of Los Angeles at California: Anderson
But looking at my latest GMAT score, I don't think that I can apply to these five colleges. I don't want to waste the year and would like to start my MBA journey fall 2020.
Majority of the colleges' Round 1 deadline is fast apporaching and I was hoping to apply before Round 1 deadlines only.
Now I am currently confused as to whether I should give a fourth attempt and try to take my score to 600+ or whether I should try to find and see which are the colleges in US and Canada that will accept a GMAT score between 550-600 and focus on the application part for those colleges.
At this point, I am not even sure whether a fourth GMAT attempt is worth the try in improving my score.
Any guidance or suggestion will be highly appreciated.
Thank you for your valuable time in drafting a response to my query !
