Thank you so much for the helpful information Paul. It's great to know that Rochester is more open to young professionals since I happen to like the school quite a bit - and yes, I would like to stay in the finance track.

Another question, if you don't mind. I've been wondering how important a factor one's college GPA is in the admission process. My girlfriend went to a very prestigious college but graduated with a rather below average GPA (a bit less than 3.0) She's working for an ivnestment management firm at the moment and will be looking to enter an MBA program (good but not top-notch - just like me) in the future. Given she will have 2-3 years of experiences, do you think she still stands a decent chance with that GPA?

If she nails the GMAT and perhaps aces some of quantitative type classes like statistics or calculus (if she didn't in school), then she's not out the running at all. They do take the quality of the school into account. She will also want to aim at more than just the schools at the very top of the heap, too.
