Not sure if thisi s the right thread/sub forum to ask on , but got a waitlist from my Round 2 app EWMBA at Berkeley.
I was disappointed to hear this. From what I understand most of these programs have NO ONE exit the waitlist some years. So it it worth trying to work on this anymore?
Some questions
1) who can I ask for an application review, can I write a letter to have them reconsider their decision, factors that may have changed?
2) Any other factors to help push a decision? Ie I am interested in doing research there, considering my background in engineering, how can I demonstrate this as I can't reach out to professors without being a student there yet?
3)I didn't apply for scholarships by the march deadline as every mba program i applied to has a seperate application and deadlines, for a program I may not get into. Is there still a way, if I do get in, to apply afterwards?
I'm prepared to do a lot to get my admit but I also have to, with covid layoffs, think about my next position. So I have to do this in a timely manner. What are the typica costs for 'coaching' a candidate by most consultants? This seems to be hidden for a number of consultants on this forum
