- The academic pedigree, given the IIT brand is good barring the below average GPA. Read here on how to potentially overcome the low GPA hurdle.
- Not much has been shared about the actual nature of your work. Just the designations don't tell a lot - do share more details; achievements/impact etc. That will help develop a better picture.
- In general, MBA after 30 is tricky. Given this, you have to be careful in school selection. The Sloan Fellows programs might be a good fit. Other regular full-time programs can be tough from a fit perspective.
- The post-MBA plan will need to be argued well. Currently, it appears as abrupt and without much rationale/thought. Doing a completely unrelated change is tricky, more when you have higher experience. Social sector hiring is pretty scant in general after top MBA programs. Make sure you do your research and develop a robust plan/story arc.
