Targetting Full time MBA from top school starting Fall 2007.
Why MBA: Fullfill my desires in Entrepreneurship/Venture Capital

B.S. in Computer Science from top school in India .. GPA: 8.7/10 (among top 5 in class of 35)
GMAT 760 (Q 51 V 41)
Professional Experience: 6 yrs of rock solid startup experience:
Most recent job: Joined as the first employee of a MNC Indian operations in 2003. Was instrumental
in setting up the Indian unit, worked with US team to establish a working model for the team
in India, Visited various schools to recruit and build brand image for the company .. will have a
solid recommendation abt all this work directly from the managing director, whom I worked closely
with. Moved to the US operations in Jan'2006 (so will have 1.5 yrs of US experience by the time
I join).. Excellent growth in the company (the youngest in the company to hold the current title)
Various awards/retention bonuses..
Currently, leading multiple projects, with some people from India reporting to me on few of those..
Extracurricular: Play Guitar (Was a member of rock band in school), was captain of company's
cricket team in India/Written for technical magazines/given talks in few conferences..
Community: Involved with a blind school in India, worked with them and also played a role in
company helping them with big donation.
Shortlisted Schools as of now (in that order): Stanford, HBS, Wharton, Haas, Anderson
I know Stanford and HBS are really competitve, and demand something
exceptional. Please let me know, if it makes sense to apply to them. Also, what are my chances at the other three ? Please
also suggest what schools I shd add apart from above.
