I'm looking to get into a PhD program in accounting or business ethics in the fall of 2007. I think I may be limited due to my age and lack of experience, but here is my profile:
24 years old
3.98 undergrad GPA - University of Maine Business School
3.96 graduate GPA - Masters of Science in Accounting, University of Maine Business School
I'll have 2 years of public accounting experience (auditing) and my CPA by the time I'd start a PhD program.
My GMAT score was a 580 when I went into grad school, as I didn't need a high score and didn't study. I'll take it again this fall.
I realize this isn't for an MBA, but I figured the best chance of getting feedback was here, as not many people post in the PhD forum.
Schools I am considering so far: UNC, University of Colorado at Boulder, and USC.
Are there any schools that currently offer PhD's in business ethics? The reason I'd go for my PhD is I would like to be a professor.
Thanks.
