Gmat 710(49,37) IR4 Awa 4.5
Age 29
X-90 , XII-93
Marine engineer , sailing on ships for past 5 years
Gpa 4, INDIAN MARITIME UNIVERSITY
Not sure of the domain i would like to work in , still searching for it but operations seems to be the best fit
Top 20 schools in usa ( tepper cornell duke rice)
Rotman, ivey in canada
Said business school uk
post mba i would like to work ni these countries
These are my preference
Since many marine engineers are alumni of above mentioned bschool and have taken operations role in such companies as amazon , i feel i should follow the same
Kindly guide with your inputs

Hey harivars,

Thanks for posting! With a 710 GMAT and what appears to be an interesting background, I'd say on the surface you put yourself in a good position with a school in the 10-20 range. Tepper, Cornell, and Texas could be good targets...Fuqua and somewhere like UVA as reaches. Rice/Vanderbilt/UNC more on the safe side. As with all applications, what matters the most is how your frame your story and tie what you've done in the past to how you want to make an impact going forward!
