I understand there are other aspects to the applications such as the essays and the recommendations, however, I would like to know if these are the ones to be considered, will I have a shot top 30 programs?

Also which schools can I have realistic chance both India and abroad.

Thanks for your time :)

Hey anurag18,

Thanks for posting! You've got a strong profile from top to bottom, really don't see any holes to poke at. The better the brand name of the company you worked for (and your client projects), the better your application will be.

At this point, you should be thinking about US versus Europe and where you would prefer to be. While you can certainly apply to schools across both shores, really decide the geography that fits you best and then focus on the schools (I'd say you've certainly got a shot at M7, 10-15 would be your sweet spot) that historically have sent folks into the consulting roles you are looking for. For example, if you were to go to Fuqua, the MBB roles would largely be in Tier 2 cities like Atlanta, Detroit, Denver, etc. whereas from CBS, you'd be looking at NYC, Boston, DC, etc. Just depends on your personal preferences.

I hope this helps, and feel free to reach out at [email protected] if you have any more questions!

Regards,
