I am planning to apply to various B-Schools and wanted to know people's thoughts on how age plays into the application process. I will have 3 years of experience working if I begin business school next year but will just be turning 25. Will this hurt my chances? Are their certain schools more likely to take younger applicants? I'm interested in Kellogg and University of Michigan.

There is a general trend toward admitting younger applicants, but the middle 80% of most schools' entering classes is still between 25 and 32 or thereabouts, which is what the middle 80% is at Michigan as well. The average age for both Kellogg and Michigan is 28 years old. So your 25 will not be too far off their comfort zones.
Of the two schools, Michigan is the one that is more likely to admit younger applicants. 2% of its entering class last year had 1 year or less of W/E, where at Kellogg this was 0%. Similarly, where Michigan's middle 80% in number of months of work experience was 18-114, at Kellogg it was 36-84. Some top schools that are clearly more open to younger applicants are:
Carnegie Mellon
Cornell
Notre Dame
Pittsburgh Katz
Purdue
Rochester
