Profile Evaluation:
GRE = 312 (Quant - 168/Verbal- 144)
IELTS = 7/9
CGPA - 7.57/10 in Mechanical Engineering in LNMIIT(B-Tier institute in India)
6th month work ex - Manager-Operations in a Mask Manufacturing company. My work includes managing raw materials, production, labour management and Quality check.
1 Month International Internship as Automation engineer at Arcelor Mittal, Kazakhstan.
another technical internship as Mechanical engineer at an Ultratech Cement in India
one and half month social media content writing internship for NGO.
Lots of extra-curricular and roles of reponsibility throughout graduation
I have managed fests in my initial 2 yrs. I was project head in thrid year at my institute of an international student chapter.
I have been a Lawn tennis team captain at my college.
I am looking to apply for MPhil in Management And Mphil in Technological Policy at the University of Cambridge.
Currently, they don't require GRE. So, I will not submit GRE scores. And I can improve on IELTS score by Jan(before application).
What do the university of Cambridge look for for these programs. Please tell my chances and what should my profile look like to get admission there.

To begin with resolving your query in terms of the M phil in Management and M phil in Technological Policy at Cambridge, you need to understand that Cambridge is a one of those schools which values a holistically developed and well groomed profile. That means they look for your good grades, brand names, extracurricular activities and the kind of skills and experiences you have under their belt. And since Cambridge comes under the dream category school, you will be facing competition from applicants with similar or better profiles than you, hence differentiating yourself from the others is very key to showcase how you will be a great value addition to this school.
Having said that lets begin your evaluation, speaking of which you have a 7.57GPA and 7/9 IELTS score which is pretty decent, however your GRE score of 312 is a bit on the lower end and if you are willing to apply to any other school apart from Cambridge then a minimum of 320 is definitely a must.
Now coming to your work experience, you have 6 months of work experience as operations manager and along with this you have quite a few internship experiences as well. Among these you also have a one month international internship experience in Kazakhstan, which will definitely work in your favour as it will showcase your broadened perspective and adaptability nature which is something the schools are always on the lookout for. Having said that, you lack big brand names under your belt, however, eventually, what will matter is the quality of your work experience, whereby you can highlight why you chose this company, what kind of projects you undertook, what were your inputs and what skills you developed. This will also showcase how you are voyaging on a path towards your goal while portraying your dedication and consistency.
Talking about your extracurricular participation, you have a good mix of extracurricular activities during your undergraduate studies whereby you have held leadership positions and also spearheaded many events and projects. All these activities showcase a holistically developed profile which is exactly what these B-schools are looking for. However, to enhance this aspect of your profile, you need to dig deeper into the details - highlight the kind of events you organised, impacts created and your major takeaways from the same. Additionally, you can also take up NGO volunteering works and certain online courses or certifications related to the niche you would want to build your career in to further enhance your profile and proactive attitude.
