Paul,
Thank you so much. I used to login every two hours to see if you have replied. You have given me some valuable points a real boost to get started .. Thank you so much..

You have said that my age is right for the program. But I thought I am in the upper age limit for the full time, and a big hurdle is to convince them why I need to go on the program full time. Though my very personal reason why I want to do it full time is that I want time with my children as well, do you think that is something that can go against me? I may have to give professional reasons why I want full time, isnt it.

Regards, Remgeo

Remgeo,

Sorry I kept you waiting for my reply. :) I don't think you should state that wanting more time with your children is your *primary* reason for preferring the full-time program, but I strongly recommend that you mention it as a secondary reason. That is, I think they have some sympathy for mothers and you should "play that card" since you've got it.

My information is that your age is very typical for LBS. If you have data contradicting me please let me know.

Good luck,

Paul,
Thanks for the reply. I have one more question about the references.
One reference I can get from my immediate Project Manager, to talk about my leadership skills etc.

The other one, can I get it from my mother-in-law whose buisness I want to take over and progress where she can talk about why she feels I am capable of doing this? Would this do harm considering that she is my mother-in-law?

Thanks in advance.
Best Regards, Remgeo

Remgeo,

If you can avoid using your mother-in-law I think it would be best. Schools are naturally skeptical of letters from family members.

Good luck,
