Hi Paul,
Please give me recommendations on improvements before I apply:
My Profile:

Worked experience:
- 3 years to date at a global top 5 pharmaceutical company as a research scientist in drug discovery.
- Been awarded by Divisional Vice President in recognition of hard work and dedication that has resulted in rapid advancement of the project. (project advancement even ahead of other PhDs working on similar projects).
- Currently writing my first scientific paper for publication.
- I started a new project from the very beginning, including all the literature reference work and planning. Unfortunately, I don't have any one that works under me.
Extracurriculars:
Toastmasters and starting again on fencing.
During college, I volunteered at soup kitchens and food pantry weekly for one year.
I was also an Orientation leader for International Students, participated in fundraising and marketing for International Student activities.
During my senior yr, i was a Specialist at the School's learning center, tutoring students in science and math. Tutored kids also in Childrens' Literacy Project.
Goal:
I want to pursue an MBA because I want a career change from research science to equity research in healthcare/Biotech. ER would be a field where I can still apply my science background and research skills. I took the business classes at U of C to be more familiarize with what Business really is - both of the subjects were completely new for me. After finishing both courses, I knew that Finance is the field where I want my career to be.
Do you think with my background i will have a realistic chance of getting into:
1. Chicago GSB
2. LBS
3. Kellogg
4. NYU
5. Columbia
Is there anything I can do to my extracurriculars, community work etc before I begin my applications?
Thanks so much!
