Hello,
I was looking through the employment statistics at M7 schools and I found that there was a very low (for some nonexistent) number of students going into the autonomous/EV industry post-MBA. Based on this statistic, I have a few questions:
1.) Are the low numbers due to a lack of employment opportunities in this industry or because not many students pursue a career in that industry post-MBA?
2.) How likely (or unlikely) is it to land a business strategy-related management role in that industry post-MBA? I understand this is a very broad question and requires numerous inputs to have a good picture, but on a generalized basis, is it a path that is a viable path like consulting or a bit of a stretch for most students like venture capital?
3.) I have heard that schools evaluate an applicant's candidacy based on his/her past work experience and employability post-MBA. This being the case, will a post-MBA career goal in autonomous/EV business management have an overall negative impact on the application because the employability in general for this field seems to be highly limited and few go into this industry post-MBA?
4.) In terms of application strategy, if I am interested in looking into management consulting and autonomous/EV management roles, which industry should I be focusing on in my application to put my best foot forward? I am equally interested in both industries, but have heard that it is important to have a clear path and goals in the application in terms of career and industry.
