Hi,
I have worked in agribusiness in various geographies (Asia and Africa) outside home country for more than 5 years. I can see there is very little representation from my sector. Just curious how much that can help in my application.

That should reallllllly help. One of my applicants working in agrotech in the same economies recently graduated from Tuck. He has joined Bain now.
Explaining a few things to the adcom will help you:
1. show a purpose. Why are you doing this work? Why is it meaningful to you?
2. What have been your learnings?
3. What impact have you created and wish to create in the future?
Needless to say, get a stellar GMAT score. Indians have no getting away from that one application component.
