Hey hope you are doing well. I am from India. I don't think even with good GMAT score, (700 above) I will be eligible for any good B-Schools in Canada, US Europe or Singapore.
I have given a jist of my profile down below.
Academics:
10th –8.8 CGPA CBSE 2013
12th – 70% CBSE (Maths, Physics, Chemistry, English, Hindi) - 2015
Bachelor's degree – BA Mass Communication, Guru Jambheshwar University
of Science and Technology, 68% (2015-2018) (Distance Education)
PG Diploma in Radio & TV Journalism- IIMC, Ministery of Information
and Broadcasting, New Delhi, 61.8% (2018-2019)
Work ex – 2 years in KPO. (CISION +WIPRO)
......................
So, basically major flaw in my profile is my undergrad's score which stands very low on converting percentage to GPA. (1.3)
Second, my journalism background amd working in KPO (knowledge power outsourcing) industry.
On top I don't have any extra curricular, social work or something on those line to show.
Even my bachelor's college isn't that great a brand name as compared to IITs here in India.
Lastly, I feel uncertain whether to prepare for GMAT even worth for someone like me.
But if somehow miraculously I supersed all those requirements... I am willing to put my blood, sweat and myself into GMAT exam and then MBA /MiM further...
Hoping for an honest assessment from GMAT club community.
