Hello,
I would like to understand my chances of getting into M7/T10/LBS based on my profile:
GMAT: 710 (Q44, V42)
Undergrad: Engineering degree from UBC, 3.8 GPA (graduated with distinction/first class)
Demo: white, female, Canadian, 27
Work experience: engineer with 4 years of experience at a leading natural resources company in Canada (oil & gas, mining). I have extensive project management and budget management experience in addition to technical operations and design experience.
Volunteer experience: Co-Chair of company United Way committee for the past year, was the lead for the United Way marketing team for two years prior to that, I also volunteer at an energy non-profit for young professionals
International experience: lived as an expat and went to international schools in the Netherlands and Russia throughout my teenage years.
Goal with MBA: short-term - management consulting, long-term - leading strategy for energy companies to navigate the energy transition (either in oil & gas or clean tech/renewables).

Thank you for sharing your profile. Your profile looks good on the surface. Starting with stats, your undergrad GPA is good. The average GMAT score of the schools you are targeting is 720+, so if you improve your GMAT by 10-20 points, it will maximize your chances. On the work front, whatever I can see, it seems good. You have been in managerial roles. So, I think you can bring some leadership experience and impact. Your volunteer experience should reflect a collaborative leader and a compassionate person in your apps. Every school does stress on this part. Also, I would recommend including any hobbies or interests you have; this will add diversity to your apps. Your post-MBA goals align with your prior work experience, which is a plus. Make sure to include how MBA from a particular b-school will help you fill the gaps in your profile and accomplish your goals.

Overall you have a good profile. I would like to know some major aspects of your work profile to find USPs! We have a hundred percent conversion rate for people from oil&gas to top notch business schools. You may want to read one of the success stories of oil&gas professional make it to lbs with 690 GMAT and 100% scholarship. It will help you give a good idea about your chances and will instil “right” confidence in you

Thank you for sharing. How many times have you taken the GMAT thus far? While a 710 is solid, you may benefit from scoring 15 to 20 points higher, particularly if you are targeting M7s.
