Hello
pushpak1811,
Thank you for your post. It is great to hear that you are beginning the MBA planning process now with hopes to apply in 2022. The best thing you can do to improve your candidacy is to plan ahead (with the help of a trusted advisor) to help you make all of the right decisions in the time leading up to your applications.
As an Indian male applicant with a background in engineering, you come from a competitive applicant pool. That said, it is key that you work to distinguish yourself from your peers in your MBA applications.
Securing a strong test score will be part of this and, depending on your target schools, you will want to work to maximize your scores. Schools do not have a preference between the GMAT and GRE, and I see that you have taken both. Did you feel as if one came more naturally to you than the other? Generally, if quant is a strength the GMAT may be your friend while those stronger in verbal tend to prefer the GRE.
As for your work experience, your startup roles sound interesting. I would love to know more about your responsibilities at these companies.
In terms of ways to enhance your profile,
Personal MBA Coach suggests fine-tuning your MBA goals to share your unique vision for improving your chosen field. Additionally, you will want more extracurricular experience. This will help enhance your portfolio in a way that gels with your overall story. You will also want to get to know your target schools well by attending virtual events. This will situate you to specifically discuss how these schools will facilitate your career within your applications.
While determining specific programs is something that
Personal MBA Coach spends time on with clients via our
early planning and
comprehensive packages, some initial thoughts keeping in mind your interest in the product domain are Wharton, CBS, Ross, HBS, and Kellogg. Of course, these programs are quite competitive and would require you to secure a stronger test score.
Please do not hesitate to reach out to

Best,
