Hi,
My name is Palak Batra and I'm pursuing Economics (Hons) from SRCC (a premier institution in India), I would be applying to top London colleges for MSc Finance. Please let me know my chances.
CGPA: 9.79/10
GMAT: 730-750 (in practice exams), planning to take it in a week
Work Experience: Unfortunately, I don't have internships in finance, but I do have 4-5 internships in various domains
INTERNSHIPS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Intern, ‘The Gaming Project’
(3rd April - 3rd June, 2020)
India’s first cloud gaming service, it allows the user to play any game from a wide range and works much like other streaming services
● Worked on different modules of company projects ranging from writing online blogs, and market evaluation, to content creation for
marketing on social media channels, as well as tasks like copywriting, developed an understanding of how start-ups work
Corporate Outreach Intern,‘The Upstarter’
(1st June - 25th August, 2020)
A student-led initiative working towards bridging the gap between students and corporates through live projects
● Reached out to potential clients, turned these leads into actual live projects. Once finalized, worked as a lead on these projects
● Successfully converted clients like ‘Zimyo’ (SaaS-based HR Company), and ‘Pure India Trust’ (NGO) and received a month long
projects from these companies, and generated Rs. 25,000+ in revenue for the organization

Thank you for your detailed post and good luck on the GMAT! If you secure a 730-750, this should situate you well for your target programs.
What are your specific career goals? A master’s in finance makes sense for someone who really wants to focus on finance expertise and rise through a narrower path. The jobs you will get out of a masters program are closer to entry level, but you will have a much easier time of getting them so it is often worth a year for someone in your position with fewer years of work experience (hence why a MSc in finance is often popular for younger applicants looking to get a degree).
May I ask how many years of experience you have total? You certainly have a number of interesting internships under your belt and we would be happy to further discuss how you can position these experiences to align with your future goals. Plus, it is great to see that you are targeting a range of programs. Personal MBA Coach suggests applying to 5 to 8 programs to maximize your chances of acceptance.

I am a practicing Chartered Accountant (self employed entrepreneur) with 9 years of experience, leading a team of 5 on an average at all times. I am based in Agra, so exposure has been limited to small scale businesses. Clients handled - about 100 each year.

President of the social club - "Alliance Club International - Agra branch"
Certificates in singing, table tennis, elocution at school level.
Looking for admission in IIM(A/B/C/Indore/Kozhikode/Lucknow) or ISB. I am confused that with the above score and profile, will I be able to get into any IIM or ISB. Any suggestions and / or feedback is highly appreciated. If chances to get into my desired schools is bleak, what schools should I try, given that Round 1 for most of the schools have finished.
