Folks,
Essentials:
GMAT 750 (50Q,42V), GPAs 4.0/3.96 (BE in India/MS in UMass Amherst)
AGE: 30 yrs OLD!!
Title: Principal DSP Engineer
Yada Yada:
A highly valued (atleast in my current company) engineer for 5 years now. Job description involves being a technical lead/architect, many international trips and customer interaction as well as people managment since last year. But I have no other powers vested in me and it doesnt look I shall rise vertically within the current comany any time soon...and my hope is that MBA from a good school with emphasis on general managment will help me rise vertically in my current career path at a much faster pace, maybe even help me in my long term aspirations of being an enterprenur (by first helping me learning to spell it)
I am willing to invest only in the top schools for full time (HBS). Not many choices for part time (maybe Stern or Babsons).
Do I really need a full time MBA? If so, what are my chances for HBS (it is too darn expensive, even with my savings of 6 yrs). Part time should be piece of cake I presume
PLease if you have any words of advice or even random thoughts, please express them.....thanks, great forum
