Visit our Website for more free resources and absolutely anything and everything latest about MBA on MBA and BeyondHey,
anagharaj,
Thanks for sharing your profile.
You have a decent GMAT score along with a good overall GPA. However,
to make your profile more robust, I would suggest adding a tad more about your overall statistics and information about any additional courses, certifications, and academic accolades. Coming to the work front, four years of work experience seems relevant. However,
belonging to an overrepresented pool of candidates,
you must display splendid leadership qualities, creativity, integrity, and global awareness! Moreover, you should highlight roles and responsibilities associated with your work, projects led, revenue generated, and key achievements attained, as It would be a key factor for you to display exceptional qualities to compensate for the few extra points in your GMAT score.
Coming to your ECAs, sure, mentioning specific achievements in your
10+ years of classical dancing would explore new horizons for you to start an interesting conversation with the adcom; however,
It would also help to highlight your social contributions to varying aspects of social causes, as they help build important characteristics of overall development. Also, for your reference, I suggest you go through our article on
How to draft Exemplary ECAs for MBA Application, to understand the importance of incorporating social work into your ECA essays! Talking about your post-MBA goals, it’s very well described and sounds reasonable enough. However, now the challenge will be on how well you align them with the school values you are targeting and past experiences to build a story that would inspire the adcom!
All in all, you have a good profile!
Retake should only be considered once you feel your overall profile would not suffice the benchmark set by your target B-school; otherwise, there’s no point preparing for a retake if the other elements of your profile could compensate for some extra points! Furthermore, we have worked with candidates with similar scores who got admitted to their target B-schools. For your reference, I suggest you go through our article on
Decoding the mind of the Adcoms, it would help you pitch your profile more efficiently in front of the adcom! As a lot depends upon how you connect the dots and create a strong impact in front of the AdComs. For US B-school, the criteria are a bit different; hence, we would need a more thorough analysis of your profile; if you’d like, we are happy to get on a call with you sometime this week to discuss your profile in length and further chances to the top B-schools. So feel free to

Cheers!
