Hey praguefinancegirl,

Thanks for sharing your profile.

To begin with, you seem to have an amazing GPA, try aiming for a 700+ score in your GMAT exam. A high score will definitely add value to your profile and make it stand out amid a pool of candidates

Considering your internships, big names like amazon definitely will highlight your application. Also working in international societies will be fruitful. It is good to know that you are aware of the importance of international exposure. Ensure highlighting it appropriately to the AdComs.

On the EC part, I can see a lot of global work there too. ECs are an important aspect for an applicant and add diversity to your profile. Specifically mention your publications in the IFRS. We have helped an applicant to get into Columbia & Wharton. You can check out his story here.

You may also want to read our article on The complete guide to Top Deferred MBA programs, it will give you some insight regarding the Deferred MBA programs.

We would like to know your post- MBA goals to align them with the schools you are targeting. All in all you stand a good chance of acceptance at top Deferred MBA programs, but you’ll face even tougher competition than general MBAs. So, along with all the achievements, you need to be reasonable as to how an MBA rightly fits your career goal. If you’d like, we are happy to get on a call with you sometime this week to discuss your profile in length and strengthen your chances further. 1. Impressive academics, and internships
2. Would have been great to see leadership experiences in your ECs
3. Deferred MBAs are way more competitive than regular ones, and it would be great to have a high score (a 740 or more would make me very confident of good admissions, but below that will start becoming competitive)
4. Employer names are not that standout, which is why your roles & achievements in those roles standing out would be very helpful.
5. Clarity in Career Goals, and strong LORs would also be of immense help.
6. Finally, a compelling story in your essays would sway the scales in your favour. Would be extremely helpful to plan well, get good mentors, thrash out stories and life themes and goals that align well, execute well. You have very high chances

Pls feel free to ping on LinkedIn for a 1-to-1 session.

Hey Praguefinancegirl,

When applying for deferred MBA programs, top universities like MIT, Sloan, Howard, and Stanford come to mind, but remember, they are very competitive with low acceptance rates. Don't let that discourage you, though! Consider alternative management programs in addition to MBA programs.

Your profile is important, but don't forget to explore different options. Keep in mind to focus on your academics, work experience, extracurricular activities, and the impact you have made. If you qualify, you may be eligible for top-tier institutions, but don't limit yourself; explore other options as well.

If you need more help, we'd be happy to setup a call and give more pointers on how to improve your profile and the right schools you should target.
