Hi Everyone

My Key points:

Bachelor of Technology, Mech from SRM University with 8.25 CGPA
Participated/won/led in both competetions/clubs

My experience: 7 years as Business Analyst in firms like Deloitte, Cognizant (CTS), HireRight
I do have some technical skills too - Just pointing out few - Salesforce Lightening, SQL

Aprt from my job: Established my own start-up in health suppliments industrry. Ran it for 2 years but eventually it failed. As a soloprenure, I handled every department so I got a well rounded understaning of each business unit in an organization. It was a Private limited company.

IELTS: 7
GMAT: No plans to take it as of now. Looking for programs waving off GMAT.

Target Role post MBA: Product Manager
Target Company post MBA: Google (Google Pixel team to be specific) - I understand that no one can gaurantee this.

MBA/Masters Course duration: Max 1 year
STEM Designation needed
Budget: $45k - $85k (including all expenses like stay, food, etc.)

Currently applying for:

Columbia Univ - Master of Science in Technology Management (Application Submitted)
Northwestern University - Master of Engineering Management (In midst of applying)
University of California Santa Barbara - Master of Technology Management (In midst of applying)
Gies College of Business - Master of Science in Technology Management (Professional Cohort) - (Application Submitted)
NYU School of Professional Studies - MS in Management and Systems (In midst of applying)

Can you please evaluate my profile and let me know the best universities that i can apply (Ambitious, target, and safe univs)

Hey Rohit,

Your 8.25 CGPA is a quite decent score, but when it comes to applying to colleges abroad, the competition can be tough with other applicants from top universities. To make a lasting impression, it's important to highlight your unique experiences and skills. With 7 years of work experience as a business analyst at top companies like Deloitte, Cognizant, and HireRight, you have a solid foundation to showcase. Plus, your experience as a startup founder in the health supplement industry showcases your leadership and management skills.

If you're looking for a 1 year MBA, Europe may be the way to go because the USA has more than 2 years of duration. Many programs offer shorter course durations and financial support options. When it comes to selecting colleges to apply to, aim for a balance between your dream schools, such as Columbia and NYU, and competitive schools, such as Duke and Cornell. This way, you can increase your chances of getting accepted into a great college.

If you need more help, we'd be happy to set up a call and give more pointers on how to improve your profile and the right schools you should target.

There are schools such as IMD and IESE that may not require a GMAT/GRE score. However, these programs may have specific requirements and may still require other standardized tests or executive assessment, so we recommend reaching out to the admissions departments of each program for more information. Admit Expert recently got a candidate a GMAT waiver from IMD. Based on our experience, you are a good candidate for a waiver given your GPA and your strong business analytic experience.

Having said that, we would like to understand your reason behind not wanting to take the GMAT and discuss your waiver eligibility in detail.

For a more detailed 1-1 strategy session, please write to [email protected] or fill the form at http://www.admitexpert.com

Good luck!

Hey, this seems like a great profile for a top school, but I believe more in-depth review would be required to get an idea of the odds to get into the schools
