Are there any standards or guidelines when it comes to writing essays?
I have an essay here that says 2-pages.
Is this 2-pages double spaced? And, what about font or margins? Can we tinker with the format or is there a certain format that we should use?

Spacing is usually specified somewhere in app description. As to the format (fonts, margins etc) - I think it's pretty much generic, just make sure your text is as plain as possible.
