Re: Leadership position.
It has taken time to come up the professional ladder. I have attained supervisory capacity where i supervise junior therapists in their respective clinical centres.

i am also involved in establishing services in new centres. I am also involved in making policy and procedures on various issues. I work in schools and am involved in service delivery and planning.
Does it reflect Leadership or one has to be in an industry to demonstrate leadership.
Your feedback is highly welcome.
Thanks.

excelgmat,

You do seem to have decent leadership too. Leadership is leadership whether you get it in industry or elsewhere. Given your GMAT and York's average GMAT I would think your chances there are good. I'm not sure why they seemed to discourage you; maybe you misunderstood the message they were sending? I have also heard good things about Sauder, and have never understood why Business Week ranks Queen's as highly as it does. That said, I don't have data on Sauder's placement stats such as average salary for fresh MBAs so I can't really evaluate their program. Their average GMAT is quite a bit lower than Queen's for what it's worth. Queen's seems to place an inordinate share of its MBAs (36%) in finance.

Good luck,
