MY002
Hello,
I am eligible for a TOEFL waiver in my target schools because the sole language of instruction in my undergrad uni and course was English.
I got V81 (67th %ile) in my GMAT.
So should I get the waiver or give the toefl? Do b-schools have any preference? Can my low verbal score in gmat act as an issue if I get the waiver?
Thanks in advance!
Hey, MY002

Just a heads-up, your TOEFL score won’t compensate for your GMAT verbal score. If you secure a GMAT waiver, the schools won’t consider your GMAT into account. If you don’t want to retake the GMAT, you can apply to schools that offer waivers, but it’s important to have strong work experience.

Also, be sure to check each school’s specific policies, as some may have different requirements or preferences for language proficiency. This will help you plan your applications more effectively.
