I've posted before.
I am too young for an MBA.
I should wait for a year or two
Now I am planning to apply for a business-related MS MSC or MA
In the US or in UK
My GPA is low
Would a high GMAT help me compensate it?
I dont think these schools require a GMAT.

First off; your GPA for what? I suppose undergraduate/bachelor?
GMAT score evaluation is becoming increasingly popular among European universities for their MSc/MA programmes. I'm from the Netherlands and almost all universities have included a GMAT score requirement for applying to their masters programmes in the past few years. I am applying for a -1 year post bachelor- MSc International Business - Strategy and Innovation programme at Maastricht University in the Netherlands (both EQUIS and AACSB accredited). Their entree GMAT score is 450 but recommended is 600. (Last year I had a 460 GMAT score, Q23,V31 and that was considered too low.)
So, to answer your question, yes a solid +- 600 GMAT score will certainly increase your chances of acceptance to a MSc/MA programme!
There are several things to consider however, namely:
- relevant work experience (despite your young age, you might have done several placements?)
- previous (undergrad/bachelor) degree (whether it's in the same field as the MSc/MA you want to pursue)
- non-English speaking country native (if u are from a non-English speaking country, you might want to consider taking a TOEFL or IELTS test besides GMAT)

Yes a good GMAt score will definitely help. Besides scores, GPA, your SOPs, LORs, Resume and work experience also make a difference. I think you should concentrate on your positives and try for a good GMAT score. Refer to manya education site for details.
