Dear
Priyank1905,
You have mentioned on one hand that you are looking to apply for MiM programs and on the other stated ISB as one the schools you want to apply for. I am an ISB alum,CO15, and have been mentoring applicants crack MBA and MiM programs for the last 8+ years, and can confirm that ISB doesn't have MiM course. Probably it is a typo at your end.
As far as seeking help with drafting the essays, you MUST seek opinion of an outsider because when you do things on your own and kind of get constrained in your perspective bubble. Hence, an external pair of eyes and ears are always helpful. Now, this external help can come from varied sources including and not limited to :
1. Friends / Family who have traversed the admissions journey successfully
2. School/College/Company seniors/peers who have either graduated from / currently pursuing MiM courses from universities you also want to apply to or similar ones
3. Alumni from the programs whom you reached via a Cold Linkedin connect / email and who gave you time to brainstorm on your profile, help prepare storylines etc.
4. Last but not the least admission consultants who have been part of journeys like yours.
While 1-4 are all practical choices and potentially give you same results, but just be cognizant of the fact that while there will be a financial transaction involved in 4. thus ensuring time and availability, 1-3 are pro bono services and hence you wont be able to command dedicated time.
Feel free to set up a free 30 min profile evaluation session with us if you are considering professional help :
