Hello,

Thanks for the reply.
My experience in healthcare was around oncology studies, using statistical tests for clinical trails

My experience with Taylor & Francis was more towards secondary research and data analysis. Used to do quantitative research, analyze the data and generate economic insights from the same.

In my current job at Gartner i am working in Benchmarking and assessment studies where I analyze the client data and create ppts

Overall, your experience looks solid. Could you share more about your post-MBA goals?
If you’re targeting healthcare consulting, IIM A/B/C/L would be a good fit. Aim for a GRE score above 320 to improve your chances.
Also, note that IIM C doesn’t accept GRE scores.

Feel free to reach out for a detailed discussion

All the best!

Hi SevenStem,

You have evidence of a strong academic caliber and a differentiated professional profile and these will prove to be advantageous. That said, how you bring these together and link them up with your career goals will be crucial.

You chances, though, will also depend on your GRE score; a 325+ will give you a good chance; needless to say, the higher, the better.

We have an Indian-schools-only consulting option that may suit your requirement. Please leave an inquiry for a free strategy session; don't worry about enrollment etc; even if we are able to give you some good insights, we will be happy.

All the best!

Hello,

Your profile is academically strong and analytically consistent—well aligned with 1-year Executive MBA programs at IIM A/B/C, but nuances matter. These programs heavily weigh quality of work experience over academics, especially leadership impact, client ownership, and revenue/decision influence. Your Gartner role is most relevant—highlight measurable outcomes (cost savings, benchmarking impact). Healthcare exposure adds differentiation if positioned around real-world impact. A GRE of 325+ (with high quant) strengthens competitiveness.
However, IIM A PGPX prefers international exposure; IIM B/C values role progression. Start building leadership stories now—this is often the real differentiator in interviews.

You can also try our Chances of B school tool to analyse your chances for the above target programs.
