Update on school selections.

I eliminated Stanford and columbia. Stan for its extreme competitiveness and Columbia, coz I wanted to select 2 from the 4 and I love wharton and chicago.

Stretch -> Wharton & Chicago GSB

Hopeful -> NYU Stern (Decided for its finance strength)
Am evaluating Cornell/Duke (what's your opinion on these)

I am thinking of studying in a good city. So may eliminate Tuck. Also Darden stresses too much on leadership etc which makes me uncomfortable for some reasons. ;)

Need to prune down the "stretch + hopeful" schools from 5 nos to 4 or 3 :(

Since I want to do an MBA for sure in Fall 2009, I need to apply to safety schools.

How does my school selection look now for my profile and aspirations?

Please advice.

I didn't mean to imply anything other than that I think you'll be competitive. Just add a safety in there and you should be fine. The two you previously mentioned are good targets.
