Thanks a lot Paul. The reason I was thinking of an EMBA from Duke or Wharton was that I am not ready to go to fulltime college next fall. BTW, I have decided not to apply this year and try next year for full time, since I want to take my best shot at HBS, Wharton, Stanford, Chicago and Kellogg.

I am taking the following steps towards next years preparation:

1) Getting more responsibility at work, building base for some solid recommendations
2) Reading about schools
3) Ordered your book and plan to read that.
4) The list is blank from here. With 9 years experience (30 yrs age) by the time I enroll(Applying next year), what else do you think I need to do to get in one of the abovementioned five.

anadimisra,

I don't think HBS and Stanford will be realistic for you, and if you want any chance at Kellogg you need strong community/extracurriculars. That would be the main focus of my advice: show impact/leadership outside of work.

Good luck,
