I have already done a MBA from India .Post MBA we is 8 years>i am looking at 1 year program...
How is kellogg's 1 year program wrt (1) Content (2) placement for Intl applicants like me.
Profile: B.Tech,MBA -8.0 years we in Oil Retail Sales with Fortune 500 Oil major.GMAT 710 ..No Intl exp..

Your first MBA eight years ago is not a deal-breaker though you'll need to explain thoroughly why it can't help you do what a Kellogg MBA will do. My understanding is that contentwise, Kellogg's one-year program is the same as the two-year except that required core quant-type courses are omitted, but check their website on this. As for placement, you have stumped me there. Ask the school if they break out placement stats between their two programs. My guess is that the only disadvantage one-years face is the lack of the internship (and thus job offer from internship company), which can be a significant minus.

I have a related Q..As u pointed out lack of internship is an issue...
1)Will that can really affect chances of getting a job in Sales/BD in US ...in Oil/Retail?CPG post Kellogg/Emory 1 year MBA.
(All my exp has been in India.)
2)Also I wud look for position in Srategy dev/MC which cud be realted to my exp..But I am not sure if adcom will accept this option of mine .
Will this be seen as a career change.
Appreciate ur thoughts
