Hope this helps, [/color]

Hi,

I have a related Q..As u pointed out lack of internship is an issue...
1)Will that can really affect chances of getting a job in Sales/BD in US ...in Oil/Retail?CPG post Kellogg/Emory 1 year MBA.
(All my exp has been in India.)
2)Also I wud look for position in Srategy dev/MC which cud be realted to my exp..But I am not sure if adcom will accept this option of mine .
Will this be seen as a career change.

Appreciate ur thoughts

suithink,

You are probably right that if you plan to stay in your pre-MBA industry after the MBA, the internship is less important. I think there's greater value in saying that the energy industry is your post-MBA rather than consulting, because energy is a far more unusual career track than consulting, which fact may help you stand out from the crowd.

Good luck,
