Thanks Paul. The work experience is full-time. I figure I'll continue with the process this year but be aware that I may have to wait a year or so.

Also, I should mention that I finished my undergrad in three years. Does that help at all? I was planning on using that as evidence of drive/goal-orientation.

How should I position my essays to best negate the work experience disadvantage? My plan is to get into consulting, and without an MBA, that would be difficult. As such, I don't see much benefit to continue working in an unrelated field.

Last question, would Darden be more attainable than UCLA?

Strategery,

Yes, the three-year completion of your bachelor's will impress them. It's a big asset. You just to need to do everything you can to emphasize the depth and quality of your full-time experience and very specific about the timing of the degree. Make them feel the urgency. Darden would probably be a bit more attainable, yes.

Good luck,
