Hi Scott & Omari,
First, congratulations on being such successful people I read about you and both of you seem to be doing what you want to do(thats my definition of being succesful).
Please tell me how I improve my profile to get through a good school.
I shall highlight few details about below:
1>GMAT 690(48Q,35V) - Interested in Part Time MBA in the top 30 schools like NYS,Chicago,Kellog,Boston College,Babson.
If you could suggest some better options for me please do.
2>Indian Female,28, have almost 6 years of experience out of which 2 1/2 years in US.
3>Software professional...have moved from being a tester,developer to a Business Analyst.
4>Lead a small group of 4 people for a project almost 3 years back in India where I was working for one the best IT companies with NASDAQ ratings
5>Interested in General Management/Leadership.
6>Have been school captain all along from class 8 to high school and have organised various activities in school.
7>Have been involved in a lot of extracurricular activities in school and college like Dancing,singing and sports.
8>Short Term goal after MBA - project manager
Long Term Goal - CEO of a big company.
9>GPA of almost 3.5
Please tell me how can I make my application stand out.I know there is nothing extraordinary about it.

I don't see any huge weaknesses in your profile that will definitely keep you out of those programs. But, here are a couple of thoughts:
* Ideally you have some examples of how you've really made an impact, both on the job and outside of work, rather than merely working on assignments and attending events. Schools will want to know where and how you've truly made a difference.
* Think a little more about your career goals. These sound very generic right now. Also, why do you need an MBA to become a project manager? What kind of field do you envision yourself in?
* Your GMAT is fine... no need to take it again.
