3) Certified in Investments Planning,Insurance planning & Risk Management by Financial Planning Standards Board
4) Appeared for CFA level 1 in Dec 2007 (CFA Institute ,US)
Work Experience
1) 3.5 yrs as IT Consultant in a CMM level 5 ,asia's largest IT consultancy services company (will be 4+ yrs while applying)

Your profile is strong but your career progress, while better than most, is not uncommonly strong. However, your NGO leadership, assuming it is current, is a major-league asset for you. I therefore think you have a decent chance at many of your target schools, with NYU, HEC Paris, and ISB India being your best bets.
Your biggest challenge will be to project a really thoughtful, distinctive, interesting, dynamic, and personal set of essays that capture you as a unique individual rather than just 'profile.' If you do that, present concrete and well-thought-out goals, go out of your way to interact with people at these programs, and your reco letters are very detailed and enthusiastic, several of these top schools may come through for you.

Suppose if I am gonna work for 1 to 1.5 yrs more before i apply for the Bschool, what will be your advise that i should be doing to build a strong profile from the place as i am now.
I mean, what will be the expectations from Top schools like Harvard,Wharton , what is the gap with my profile to the any student profile of Harvard or Wharton and what i should do to close the gap.
