You are right about your profile's weaknesses, but you do have some clear strengths: GMAT score, Filipino-American (diversity factor), military background (schools like because of the leadership/teamwork theme), outstanding international/cross-cultural profile, and decent community/extracurriculars. So I think you can get into Georgetown and USC and might actually have a shot at NYU and UCLA, particularly if you were to apply to their part-time programs. You might also consider Washington U. in St. Louis.

I've never considered Wash. U - I will definitely check out the program. For now, however, is there anything I can do to strengthen my app to shift schools like G-town and USC to the "likely" category? Do you know of any particular strengths these two schools look for? I'm willing to wait another year if it helps (or will it hurt?: i'll be 29-30). Thanks again.
