Hi Paul,
I was hoping to get some advice from you. First, the profile and then the question:
Age - 28
Ethnicity - Caucasian
BA - Accounting and Economics (State School)
GPA - 3.4 (Had to retake a handful of quant classes, but last 51 credits I had a 3.5)
Work Experience - 3 years public accounting experience for Big 4; worked on various large SEC clients. In College, I worked as a teaching assistant for a Spanish Professor.
Professional Designation - CPA, Level 3 CFA Candidate
Leadership - 2 years as missionary volunteer in South America; oversaw 150+ volunteers, which included organizing and strategically mobilizing volunteers. Also prepared and presented workshops and seminars for the 150+ volunteers.
Recomendations - Should have strong recomendations from 2 partners I work for.
Career Plans - Would like to work in Equity Research (Buy Side or Sell Side) and cover European (Spain) and South American and Central American Companies (Emerging Markets), thus using Spanish in my job (I'm bilingual). I've also considered taking a position in Brazil with my firm that would allow me to learn Portuguese - I'm assuming this would likely strengthen my chances at Wharton/Lauder.
Here's the catch - I haven't takent the GMAT yet, but will do so in approx. a month. I would like to know, based on your professional opinion, what I would have to score on the GMAT to get accepted into each of the following schools:
Cornell
NYU
Columbia
Wharton/Lauder (Would love to do Language Program)
Chicago
Berkeley
NorthWestern
Thank you in advance for the help and advice - it is very much appreciated!
