Hi linda, Please spare your little time and provide your respected comments, thanks in advanced.
I appear for gmat on tuesday at bombay - India, it was really devastating experience.
It started with AWA - Issues and Arguments, which were okay and Quant was just breeze for me. I completed my Quant section before 5 min. and after PS i was like Oops, sure to get through the xam with an exemplary score.
But verbal ruin my score like hell, I started with 2 scs which flumoxed me pretty well, I was completely dumbfounded. These 2 SCs are followed by one RC - which has toughest vocabulary and is centered on some Fossils and its Art. These 5 questions have simply spoiled my all Preparation bcoz u know after these 5 questions the whole verbal was just not that tough, it may be very well possible as GMAT is CAT
Well, this score cant help me anymore to apply to my dream schools. I am really thinking to reappear for GMAT atleast once.
But important thing is to know the following:
1. Can 2 times Gmat spoil the admission chances at good B - school ?
2. How they consider new score, if it is improved by 100 points and pretty well becasue of verbal only. (as i can not improve my Quant score from 48 as much as i need to for verbal)
3. Moreover, which month and date should i consider as last possible for GMAT - Retake ? (I heard, 1st round starts at around OCT )
4. Has time elapsed between two gmat-takes any impact on admission chance ?
5. How many GMAT - attempts has little or no effect in acceptance chances ? Or does it vary with schools ?
Thanks,
Dharmin
