Hello,

Please guide me based on my profile:

GMAT: 720 (Q:51, V:35), AWA: 5.0
Age: 30yrs
Education: BE Electronics, GPA 3.3
Nationality: Indian
Experience: 9 years

Industry: Semiconductors design through out.
Career: Manager for last 2.5 years. Had quick promotions in last 4 yrs. Good leadership shown throughout career.
EC: Average: Helping my undergrad school on industry awareness and career counselling, Involved as a member in Community activity, Used to manage my family business till college days.

I want to go into Consulting or GM roles.

Schools: This is initial list w/o much research.
Kellogg
Booth
CBS
Emery
Ross
Tuck

Please guide me how my age will affect my chances. Also please suggest schools that I should apply to.

Your age is a negative, thought not a big one. A bigger "negative" is the relative commonness of your profile: Male, Indian, IT. The fact that you are a manager is a good differentiator but the lack of recent leadership outside of work is not helpful. So: Kellogg,
Booth, CBS, Ross, and Tuck will be long shots, with Chicago and Ross as perhaps the most doable longshots. You should be competitive at Emory. Given your goals, you may want to consider Duke, Darden, CMU, Washington (Olin), and Babson.

Regarding my leadership outside work: 
I am driving industry awareness for my Under Grad school(Indian schools are generally not connected at all with industry) through focussed events such as seminars, career counselling...., I am involved in suggesting syllabus for their new courses.

My direct community work involves working as a member to help a orphanage in raising funds and providing small educational tools in terms presentations etc.

I had done some further analysis and came to another list before your reply. Please give your comment on this.

Haas, Stern, and Yale are pretty selective programs so they are closer to the "Stretch" category in my book, but there's no harm in applying to multiple strtech schools as long as you have several sweet spot or safety schools to fall back on.
