Hi,
I have done my Engineering from a reputed institute in India (Undergraduate GPA 3.7).
I am currently working as a Senior Programmer in Accenture. My total work experience is around 16 months as of Nov 2009.
My GMAT Score is 780 (Quant 50 , Verbal - 47)
I have taken up initiatives at my workplace such as conducting seminars for new joiners. I was also actively involved in oraganizing various cultural and technical events during college.
I am looking to apply for an MBA in Finance in 2010 (Fall 2011 intake). I am currently in the process of shortlisting the schools i should be applying to. It would be of great help if you could tell me which are the possible schools that i should be looking at.

To be honest, I can't and won't do the research for you. You have to do that on your own - once you've done that and formed your own opinions, then come back and ask specific questions about the particular schools you are targeting.
Take a look at the rankings publications as a first pass. Then go through the schools' respective websites and career placement reports. Contact/email current students (it's not that hard to find the contact info for the student officers for each school's Finance Club), and do the research that way.
In any case, it's hard to say really what schools you should look at. My hunch is schools in the bottom half of the top 16 are stretches, and schools in the bottom half of the top 30 are sweet spots.
