Hi guys,
I have asked this question elsewhere and all the replies I got were very vague and I am still clueless about what I should do.
I graduated from UCLA with a BS degree in Biology and was planning to go for dental, but during my waiting time I noticed that I have great interest in business and now am interested in applying for Business school. I don't have any work experience and I have volunteered a lot before.
What can I do in order to make myself competitive for Bschool? Please give me some concrete advice =)

Get a full-time office job -- work in sales, bus dev, marketing, etc. at a pharma, biotech, hospital group or health insurance company. Do that for at least 1 year before considering applying (and ideally, work for 3-5 years).
Without full-time experience, an MBA isn't really going to do you a whole lot of good because recruiters will try and hire you as if you were coming straight out of undergrad anyhow (because you have no prior full-time experience).

I have started to look for a job but with my lack of previous work experience and lack of business background (I wasn't econ/business major), it is especially hard to find a job. Do you have any tips for me? Also would my low GPA at UCLA affect me a lot?
